RAVE Communications Emergency Notification and Alert Registration
In an effort to provide more reliable and effective communications with residents and businesses in the Borough of Ramsey, the Borough has implemented RAVE Communications Emergency and Notification Alerting System as our emergency notification provider.
RAVE is a system that makes informative phone calls, sends email and text messages, and will post directly to our social media pages to those residents who registered for the service.
In the event of an emergency or for community notification the Ramsey Office of Emergency Management, Police Department and other departments will use this system to notify citizens by phone, email and text of vital information. These messages may include information on hazardous weather, potential flooding, fire/haz-mat, water emergencies, accidents/road closures, missing persons, and evacuation orders.
All calls you receive will have the caller ID of "Ramsey Borough" or "Ramsey Police Department." Your personal information will remain confidential, secure and not be provided to any outside agencies or companies.
