Office of Emergency Management and CERT

The Ramsey Office of Emergency Management (OEM) was chartered in 1944, during World War II. In the ensuing years, it has grown tremendously in response to the intensification of the different types of emergencies that could occur in the borough. The Emergency Operations Center is equipped with the latest in communications equipment, Davis weather station, and dedicated computers to monitor any hazard.  Ramsey OEM’s well-trained staff contains many Certified First Responders, RACES communications personnel, amateur radio operators, Emergency Medical Technicians and law enforcement officers.

Along with our partners at the Ramsey Rescue Squad, Fire Department, Ambulance Corps and Police Department OEM is always ready to Prepare for, Respond to, Mitigate against and help Recover from disasters and other emergencies in Ramsey.

Public Emergency Notifications
