EAST SIDE

Properties East of the NJ Transit railroad tracks will be permitted to water only on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays is permitted at the following times: 

A.   In-ground installed water systems from 4:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M.

B.   Above ground watering systems from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Watering of any properties at any time on Fridays is not permitted.
Hand-held hoses will be permitted on all days including Fridays.

These regulations do not apply to:

1.    The use of water for commercial horticultural nurseries

2.    The use of water for newly installed sod or seed lawns every day except Friday during the

       hours set forth above for a period of two weeks after obtaining written notice of installation to

       the Borough’s Department of Public Works.

WEST SIDE

Properties West of the NJ Transit railroad track will be permitted to water only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays is permitted at the following times:

A.   In-ground installed water systems from 4:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M.

B.   Above ground watering systems from 4:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M.

Watering of any properties at any time on Fridays is not permitted
Hand-held hoses will be permitted on all days including Fridays.
