ALSO NEW THIS SEASON---In addition to a new pool, there is also a new registration system. You can now securely register your entire family at one time from the comfort of your home or workplace, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. Be sure to create your CommunityPass account now by going to https://register.communitypass.net/RamseyPool.
Upon completing registration for membership as well as swim lessons and swim team, you will receive an e-mail containing your login information. A ten dollar administrative fee will be charged for registration assistance at the pool during the season. There will also be a five dollar lost card fee.

Pool Season and Hours of Operation
The pool is scheduled to open on Saturday June 14th, plus the weekends of JUNE 20-22. The pool will open full-time the day after school ends. The Ramsey Pool is an alcohol-free environment. Please abide by this rule.
Saturday and Sunday....10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Monday through Friday..12 noon to 8 p.m.
Labor Day (Monday)......10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Swim Meet Closings
Lap swimming and the diving boards will be closed during all HOME swim meets. The schedule is TBD. Please check back for more information.

July 4th-DJ and other fun activities at the pool from 4 to 7 p.m.
Labor Day-Special activities will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. The pool will close for the season at 5 p.m.
There are FOUR WAYS to join the pool:
Family Membership (PLAN A)
Family membership includes husband and wife, or widow/widower, plus $40 per child. In a family with a legal single head of household, the basic membership may consist of the one adult plus one child in place of a spouse, plus $40 for each additional child. Children are assumed to be unmarried, over 1 year old, and living at home as a legal dependent. Children under 10 must be accompanied by someone at least 12 years old. Children's badges are marked with a different color sticker to identify them.
Pre-season registration will save $20 on this membership. This unlimited use plan will be $320 prior to May 1 and $340 thereafter, plus $40 per child. Any more than four children are free.
Senior Citizens (PLAN B)
This special plan is designed to encourage Ramsey's Senior Citizens (age 62 and over) to utilize the benefits of the pool at a rate of $40 per person until April 30, $50 per person after that date.
Individual Membership (PLAN C)
Plan C is for the individual (one person only) who will use the pool frequently. Rates are $200 prior to May 1st and $215 thereafter. This is the recommended plan for the children's Nanny or family Au Pair.
Ten-pass Plan (PLAN D)
Plan D affords members a total of ten visits to the Ramsey pool and is $135 at all times. This plan is renewable throughout the season.
All Memberships Must Be Paid In Full At The Time Of Registration. Proof Of Residency Will Be Required With All Cash Payments.
Continuing In 2014---Sponsored Out-of-Town Memberships
The Ramsey Pool will again be accepting a limited number of sponsored out-of-town memberships for the 2014 season. Out-of-town members (except for non-resident borough employees) must be sponsored by a resident member of the Ramsey Pool. Before the membership is accepted, the sponsor will be contacted. The fees are as follows:
One member: $300 before May 1st
$350 on and after May 1st
Two members: $480/$525
Three members: $540/$580
Four members: $600/$635
Five members: $660/$690
Six members: $720/$750
There are no membership refunds.
A guest is any non-member who is admitted to the pool with a member. A member must be present and
accompanythe guest at all times.

Adult: $100/$80 prior to May 1st
Child: $50/$40 prior to May 1st
Chair Storage Room
The pool's chair storage room will again be available during the 2014 pool season at a cost of $20 per slot. Chairs will be left at the owner's risk and members must provide their own locks. Chair slots will be assigned on a first come, first served basis, one slot per family. Chairs must be removed on the last day of the pool season.
There will be three two-week sessions of swim instruction offered at the Ramsey pool. Enrollment is limited so that more individual attention is possible. Children must be members of the pool to take swim lessons. Full payment for swim instruction must accompany the application. The charge is $50 for each session which consists of ten classes. Classes are filled on a first come, first served basis. Private lessons can be arranged only through the Pool Manager at a cost of $25 per half hour. There are no refunds on swim instruction.
Swim Instruction Course Description
Pre-School-a water indoctrination class for 3 and 4 year olds. A parent MUST be in the water with the child.
Beginner-for non-swimmers with little or no formal training, age 4 and up.
*Swimming I-improve proficiency in elementary backstroke, front crawl, beginning diving, and underwater swimming. There will be a test in each skill in order to move to Swimming II.
*Swimming II-improve existing skills and include breast stroke, floating, treading water, and front dive. There will be a test in each skill, including a five-minute swim, in order to move to Swimming III.
*Swimming III-improve existing skills and include turns, surface dives, deep water treading, and stroke-specific skills. There will be a test which consists of a ten-minute swim.
Note: To enter a swimming course identified with an asterisk (*), the applicant must pass the preceding course or pass a qualifying test given on the first day of the course.

10 - 10:30 A.M.
10:40 - 11:10 A.M.
11:20 - 11:50 A.M.
Class assignments will be posted at the pool prior to the start of the first swim session. Questions regarding swim instruction will be answered at the Pool Office during pool hours. There are no make-ups for classes canceled due to weather.
The Ramsey Municipal Pool SwimTeam, for Ramsey pool members only, competes with other local pools in the Super Six Swim League. An excellent staff, including a certified swim instructor/coach, provides instruction and training plus swimming techniques. The swim team realizes a competitive spirit as well as providing great fun for all who participate. A charge of $80 per swimmer, with a family maximum of $200, will be required for swim team membership, payable on or before the first day of practice.
