Parking Regulations

There has been a change in parking regulations on Shuart Lane. No one shall park a vehicle for longer than three (3) hours between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.

Parking on any public street in the Borough of Ramsey is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 AM and 6:00 AM. If your driveway is unavailable, i.e., driveway repair or overnight guests, call the Ramsey Police Department. Permission will be given on a day-to-day basis.

Per State Law, pedestrians are to use the designated crosswalks when crossing public streets.

Drivers are to yield to all pedestrians when they are in the crosswalks.

The Ramsey Police Department offers a "Quality of Life Line." The "Quality of Life" offers residents suggestions and help in nontraditional police matters. Dial 327-1700. This is not an emergency line; it may be answered by an answering machine.

Residents and business owners are required to register their automatic burglar alarms with the Ramsey Police Department. Stop in at the Police Station for an alarm registration form.
