The Board of Health is comprised of volunteers appointed by the Mayor and Council. The purpose of the Board of Health is to establish policy and protect the health and well being of the citizens of Ramsey. These volunteer residents include medical professionals as well as a mix of individuals from a broad spectrum of the community.
The Board of Health oversees a full-time Registrar of Vital Statistics and Administrative Assistant. The Health Office is located on the second floor of the Borough Hall. Office hours are 9am - 5pm, Monday through Friday. Contact the Health 201-825-3400 X 245 for any questions.
